With Our Voice : GroundRules

  • Episode 2- “Ground Rules”- In this episode we discuss setting ground rules for the dialogue circles in order to keep participants engaged and feeling heard and respected.

“With Our Voices” . This is a podcast series features some of the V.O.I.C.E. student leaders who are either a member of the Grass Roots Committee or Student Interns. In the podcasts we discuss a number of given issues. It is important to note that the opinions expressed in the recording represent individual thoughts and ideas; we not speaking on behalf of any larger party outside of our individual selves. Our podcast offers a glimpse into having dialogue about difficult subjects. Are goal is not to offend, but to humbly offer our experiences as we process through these topics. Hopefully this inspires you to participate in civic discourse in your own community! *Note: The participants for the 2012-2013 series are Stephanie Ayala , Mark Gardner, Ma’Ronda George, and Xochitl Medrano
